3 Golf Swing Drills To Improve Your Putting

To do this, you have to practice first putting first with your eyes open at a range of 10 to 50 feet from the hole. After putting these balls with your eyes open, do the same thing this time with your eyes closed. That way you can literally be so good you can putt with your eyes closed!

Another twist around closing your eyes would be to randomly drop some golf balls on the ground and putt them accordingly. The goal of this drill would be to improve your smoothness and get a good feel for your putter. You can also utilize this technique with your eyes open. Now that you know the difference, try to incorporate that when you are putting the balls into the hole.

The last golf swing drill is called the alignment drill. Simply take two clubs, place them on the green in such a way that half a foot separates them, and in a way that they are parallel to each other. Then, putt the ball – pay close attention to your follow through, make sure your back and forward stroke is smooth like butter, and your stroke aligned upon impact. Though you should repeat this drill until you finally get it right, we suggest taking short breathers if you do get tired.
