Britain is Famous For
Britain is a country that prides itself in a lot of things and yes some of them may be very stereotypical to people sitting on the outside of the country. So what are the biggest things that people in Britain pride themselves in?
History
Britains history is a very long one indeed and it is rich with so many interesting time periods, it could be worth coming over to learn about them. Of course to the people on the outside of the country it is the Tudor time period that people think is the most interesting and most famous and this is when Henry VIII was in power and this was a very violent time in Britain, perhaps that is why people like it.
Bowls
Bows is a popular sport among the older generations of Britain and the home of the sport is within the south of England. Although a lot of people feel that not many people play bowls it would seem that a fair amount actually do and many more watch tournaments when they are on and some of the best greens can be found in Britain. Bowls holidays are favourable among many people.
Of course these are not the only two things that there are to do in Britain and there are many other things such as hotels in Devon and spa breaks and this is something that a lot of people seem to enjoy. Devon is a great place to visit in the UK if you want to go to the countryside and if you fancy a bit of surfing then Cornwall is the place to go.
A lot of people simply head out to the big cities when it comes to visiting Britain but you must never forget some of the countryside spots too.
