Cruises To Get People Home
Few luxury cruises recently left UK to different destinations such as Amsterdam, France, Germany and Spain to help the stranded passengers as all the airports were closed. One of the ship that left UK was Celebrity Eclipse cruise ship. They cancelled their launch on April 22nd to assist the vacationers who are still waiting to come home back home from Spain because of the flights being cancelled.
Many people from the UK went abroad for a holiday to celebrate Easter with their family but they have been stuck their because of this. Most of them found a way back to UK but a lot of them were stranded abroad. Celebrity cruises arrived in the Southampton, UK on the 20th of April and then left for Spain. It then departed to Bilbao in Spain to pick over 2,000 travellers to get them home.
The ship dedicated to the UK, helping the UK citizens stranded abroad is a great gesture and help from the cruise ship. There are many people who could have made their way home through this route earlier but unfortunately some of them did not have any money to spend. This great help from Celebrity Eclipse will definitely comes as a surprise but this is something that has to be done to help these vacationers get home. Most of them are missing work. Some are missing school and universities especially when the exams are near. As you may be have seen in BBC news there was a massive smile on peoples face and also relief of knowing that a cruise is coming to help them to take them home. They said they were excited to come back home and also would like to thank Celebrity cruise ship for this help. Some said they will definitely go on a cruise holidays in this cruise ship one day.
For me my next holiday will definitely be with Eclipse no matter if it is to silversea cruises or voyages of discovery, I will definitely be choosing Celebrity Eclipse. Celebrity cruises have also won an award of being one of the trusted surveys of consumer travel preferences in the World. This is another one of the cruise ships great achievement. They are definitely building their reputation in a positive manner.
