Listmania: Top 10 (Unofficial) World Cup Songs

We like to think we know our football. Music? Not exactly within the FanHouse UK comfort zone. However, when earlier this year the Football Association decided against naming an official song to accompany England’s campaign, music literacy became a hot topic around here.
This year there have been more songs than ever released (or re-released) under the banner of “Unofficial World Cup Song” (we listened to 249!), so we have decided to separate the drivel from the divine in the deluge of tracks to come up with our definitive top 10 best football songs of 2010.
Many feature the same ingredients: clapping, chanting, the odd lion (3 usually) and shouts of En-ger-land! This could not be avoided but we tried to come up with a decent mix. Here they are:
